WILSON NAMED 2011 SAINTS COACH

The Quebec Saints announced it's 2011 coaching panel and it was no surprise West Australian Mathew Wilson has taken over the top job. 

The Saints spearhead forward took over the captaincy during the finals this year and has been part of the leadership group from day one. Another West Australian Darrin Haverhoek was named assistant coach and will also take on the role of Montreal Angels head coach. The official statement from the club was:
 
"We are pleased to announce that two of our greatest on-field leaders from 2010 will be leading the club heading into what is sure to be an exciting 2011 season. With the appointment of Wilson and Haverhoek we have no doubt that the Quebec Saints will rise to the next level in our short but proud history"
The Quebec Saints are scheduled to kick off preseason training camp in January 2011.
